What waiso.dev keeps in your browser, and your choice about the optional part. You can change it here at any time.

Always on: what the site needs

Your sign-in session when you use the app, and interface preferences: your language, light or dark theme, the programming language you read examples in, the docs you opened recently and whether a few panels are open. They stay in your browser, the site needs them to work, and they are never used to follow you on other websites.

Optional: analytics

If you accept, two tools load on our public pages: Google Analytics, which counts visits and page views (its advertising features and signals are turned off), and Microsoft Clarity, which shows in aggregate how pages are used so we can improve them.

Nothing loads before you accept, and declining changes nothing else on the site.

When the choice is made for you

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, analytics stay off and you are not asked. Visits from the Waiso team’s own browsers are not counted either.

Changing your mind

Use the buttons at the top of this page. Turning analytics off takes effect at once: the page reloads without them. Clearing this site’s data in your browser also resets the choice, and you will be asked again. Questions about any of this: support@waiso.dev.
