Terms of Service

Last updated September 10, 2026

These terms govern your use of Waiso. They are written to be read, not to be survived — if anything below is unclear, write to us before agreeing to it.

Who you are contracting with

Waiso is operated by Talisson Junior, an individual established in Brazil. Where these terms say “we”, that is who they mean.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every purchase. Paddle is the seller on your invoice, is responsible for charging you and for collecting any applicable sales tax or VAT, and its own terms apply to the payment transaction itself. We never see or store your card details.

What the service is

Waiso is a platform for writing, running and scheduling code — scripts, visual flows, scrapers and HTTP endpoints — together with the connections those need to databases, object storage and third-party services.

It is offered in two forms: a cloud service we host, and a self-hosted licence that you run on infrastructure you control. Where a clause below applies to only one of the two, it says so.

Waiso's websites are waiso.dev (in English) and waiso.com.br (in Portuguese, and where the cloud service runs). These terms apply to both.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including everything your credentials can reach. Keep them secret, and tell us promptly if you believe they have been used by someone else.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and you must not be barred from receiving the service under any law that applies to you.

An account may hold several people. The account owner is the one who can buy, change or cancel a subscription; other members cannot, regardless of what else they are permitted to do.

What you may not do with it

Waiso runs code you write, which makes this section the one that matters most. You must not use it to:

— attack, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to any system, whether ours or a third party’s;

— send unsolicited bulk messages, or collect personal data you have no lawful basis to collect;

— break the terms of any website or API you reach from it, including its robots directives and rate limits;

— host or distribute malware, or run anything designed to conceal its own behaviour from us;

— mine cryptocurrency, or otherwise consume compute for a purpose unrelated to the work the plan is sold for;

— infringe anyone’s intellectual property, or process content that is unlawful where you or your users are.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, without notice where the harm is immediate. We would rather write to you first, and normally will.

Your code and your data are yours

You keep every right you already had in the scripts, flows, data and credentials you bring to Waiso. Nothing here transfers ownership of them to us.

You grant us only the permission we need to actually run the service for you: to store your content, execute it on your instruction, and show it back to you and to the people you share it with.

We do not use your code or your data to train models.

Plans, credits and payment

Cloud plans are sold per month or per year and include a monthly allowance of script runs and browser runs. Prepaid credit packs may be bought on any plan, including Free.

Your plan allowance is always consumed before any credit pack. Purchased credits do not expire and are not reset when your monthly allowance is.

A plan change takes effect at the start of your next billing period, never mid-cycle, and the amount and the date are shown to you before you confirm.

Prices are shown before purchase and include or exclude tax as Paddle determines from the billing address you provide.

Cancellation, non-payment and what happens to your work

You may cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not cut short the period you have already paid for, and you keep everything until that period ends. Changing your mind inside that period costs nothing.

Nothing you have made is deleted because a payment failed or a subscription ended. Resources beyond the limits of the plan you drop to become read-only until you come back within the limit or subscribe again, at which point they return exactly as they were. You choose which of them stay active.

We may terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Where we do, we will say why, and give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data unless the law or the nature of the breach prevents it.

Availability

We work to keep the cloud service available and will tell you about planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee on any cloud plan.

Self-hosted installations run on your infrastructure; their availability is yours to manage.

Third-party services

Waiso connects to services you choose — databases, object storage, AI providers, email providers, websites you scrape. Those are governed by their own terms and their own prices, and we are not responsible for what they do, charge, or stop doing.

Credentials you give us for them are encrypted before they are stored.

No warranty, and the limit of what we owe

The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including, for consumers in Brazil, rights under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change materially reduces your rights, we will give you notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it. The date at the top of this page is when it was last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of Brazil have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings where you live and the protection of the mandatory law of that place.
