Use case

Let your AI assistant work in your automations

Waiso is an MCP server. An AI client can write and run scripts, build flows, set up schedules and endpoints, and read runs, as you and never beyond its token’s scope.

One command to connect

Create an MCP token in Settings and the dialog gives the exact command for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code. Any client speaking MCP over streamable HTTP connects the same way.

Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http waiso https://waiso.dev/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <token>"

A token with a scope

Choose which projects the token reaches, read-only or read and write in each, and optionally only some areas such as Scripts or Flows. Other projects do not exist for it.

Watch it work, stop it anytime

While an agent acts, the top bar shows MCP active and the app can follow what it opens. Deleting the token cuts its access on the next call.

Questions

Which AI clients work?

Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code have ready commands; any other client that speaks MCP over streamable HTTP works too.

Can an agent do more than I can?

No. Each tool follows the same rules and plan limits as its page in the app, within the token’s scope.

Does it work on a self-hosted instance?

Yes. The server lives at /mcp on your own Waiso address.

Do MCP tokens expire?

No. A token works until you delete it; make one per client and machine.
